How to order your custom bed
Choose your bedhead, base, size and fabric, then place your order through a Sleep Australasia retailer. Our team can help you find a store near your suburb or postcode.
Choose your bed size
Start with your mattress size. Check the Australian mattress size guide, then ask your retailer to confirm the actual base and bedhead dimensions for your room.
Choose your bedhead
Explore the bedhead collection and choose a profile and fabric. Heights, button detailing and fitting options vary by model; check the product details with your retailer.
Choose your base
Compare standard, drawer and floating bases, or explore flat-pack bases. Confirm available storage, legs and charging options for your chosen model.
Choose your fabric and colour
Explore the fabric collections and ask your retailer to show you the swatch cards. Check colours in person before ordering, and confirm which fabrics are available for your chosen bedhead and base.
Order through your retailer
Take your product names, mattress size and fabric choice to the retailer. Ask them to confirm the price, final dimensions, fittings, production time and delivery arrangements before you place the order.
Compare bed base options
Use the product descriptions below as a starting point, then ask your retailer to confirm the options for your selected model.
| Base | What distinguishes it |
|---|---|
| Standard base | A custom-made base with a choice of height, legs and fabric. |
| Drawer base | A custom-made base with built-in drawers; confirm the number and placement of drawers. |
| Floating base | A custom-made base with a floating look, with or without drawers. |
| Knockdown Base | A flat-pack upholstered base with timber slats and a set-up tool. |
| SmartBase | A flat-pack base with solid pine slats and a fitted cover. |
For any base, confirm the finished width, length and height, mattress compatibility, access requirements and delivery arrangements before ordering.
